Job Summary
Greet and orient patients and visitors, then interview them for complete demographic and financial data to complete registration accurately and promptly. Collect monies, obtain signatures, and notify guests of hospital regulations, policies, and services. Perform this work on a per diem basis with variable shifts. Overlake Medical Center is a 349-bed nonprofit regional medical center known for award-winning, compassionate, and patient-centered care in the Puget Sound region.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- COVID-19 immunization
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- Formal training in medical terminology
- Formal training in hospital finance
- Formal training in customer relations
- Previous frontline medical office experience
- Previous hospital experience
- Previous business experience
- Direct customer service experience with a paying customer
