Job Summary
Oversee revenue cycle activities for patient registration, referrals, precertification, insurance verification, and co-pay collections to ensure effective cash flow. Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators for Patient Access while reporting findings to senior management. Facilitate communication between departments, plan staff based on service volume, and train, motivate, and coach team members. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, organizational policies, and regulatory standards while ensuring excellent customer service for patients and medical staff. Participate in on-call weekend coverage rotations and fill in for absent team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of relevant patient access experience
- Must be dependable

- Must interact effectively with physicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff and the broader health care community
- Must be able to participate in the on-call weekend coverage rotation
- Must be able to fill in for other Patient Access team members during lunch or absences as needed
