Patient Access Coordinator I / Emergency Department Registration - West Penn Hospital - Full-Time (evening, weekend, rotational shift)

Registers patients for bedside admission, handling scheduling, registration, and admitting functions with accurate demographic data, insurance verification, and financial clearance; collects estimates, liabilities, and payments per ADT system, and facilitates regulatory paperwork while ensuring HIPAA and EMTALA compliance. Builds positive patient experience through clear communication, empathy, and collaborative work with healthcare professionals; duties occur during evenings, weekends, and holidays and require the ability to stand for long periods and operate a computer on wheels.
