Job Summary
Assign accurate MRNs, complete medical necessity and compliance checks, collect insurance information, and process physician orders while adhering to regulatory requirements. Operate the telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls with compassion, and perform pre-registration of patient accounts prior to visits. Conduct audits of accounts to ensure forms are completed accurately and timely, providing statistical data to leadership. Explain general consent forms and distribute patient education documents, including Medicare and Tricare messages, while entering benefit data to support clean claim rates. Screen medical necessity using ABN software for Medicare patients and manage point-of-service collections and payment plans.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI
- High School Diploma/GED
- CRCR certification
- Must be able to work on-site at Bon Secours - Chester Emergency / Imaging Center in Chester, VA
