Job Summary
Clinical Educator role overseeing initial and ongoing training for clinical staff across assigned locations, developing and maintaining training materials, performing competency testing, acting as the clinical expert for electronic health record systems, supervising preceptors and new hires, and coordinating annual education calendars. Responsibilities include conducting in-services, ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance, expanding knowledge on adult learning, collaborating with leadership on performance improvement goals, managing online learning module updates, and aligning educational services with multidisciplinary programs. Requires active California RN licensure, BSN, at least two years in home health or hospice, EHR proficiency, COQS within 1 year, and strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preference for MSN/CHPN.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the state of California
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
- Two years of home health or hospice experience required
- Knowledgeable in electronic record systems
- Proficient in using Google Suite
- Certified OASIS Quality Specialist (COQS) within 1 year of hire
