Job Summary
Pathways Coach provides one-on-one coaching and facilitates workshops using the EMPath Model to support participants in achieving economic mobility. Responsibilities include delivering coaching aligned with the EMPath Model, guiding participants in setting SMART goals, creating actionable plans, connecting participants to resources (job placement, housing, healthcare, education), and promoting cultural sensitivity and inclusivity. The role emphasizes holistic support, stress management, wellness practices, and data-driven tracking of participant outcomes, with travel as needed to support program activities. The coach works within RMAPI’s framework to advance dignity, belonging, power, autonomy, and economic success for participants, and may engage in virtual sessions using technology to enhance coaching. Benefits are not included for this part-time temporary role, and compensation is provided at an hourly rate with a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Licensed or Certified in coaching, counseling, or career development (e.g., Certified Career Coach, Life Coach Certification) a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in coaching, mentoring, or case management, ideally with marginalized communities.
