Job Summary

Facilitate adapted sports, recreation, and exercise groups for individuals with all abilities, providing hands-on support and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to plan and deliver activities for inpatient, outpatient, and community participants, including evening and weekend programming. Monitor participant progress, document outcomes in the electronic medical record, and assist with transportation and safety protocols. Support daily ARFAC operations by maintaining equipment, managing inventory, performing sanitation, and conducting pool safety checks. Requires high school diploma and experience serving individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous or current experience working, volunteering, interning, or participating in programs serving individuals with physical and/or cognitive disabilities

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience assisting with sports, recreation, fitness, arts, camps, or community programs
