Job Summary
Pathologist needed to join St. Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA as part of an established in-house pathology team. Full-time role with two existing board-certified pathologists, collaborative multidisciplinary environment, shared call coverage, robust administrative support, and strong alignment with hospital operations. Successful candidate will participate in diagnostic pathology within a hospital setting and work closely with clinicians, surgeons, and radiologists to guide patient care. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- ACGME/AOA pathology residency completed
- Board Certification through the American Board of Pathology in AP/CP
- Georgia medical state licensure
- Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- Strong interpersonal and diagnostic skills and teamwork commitment
