Job Summary
Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist) collects blood and non-blood samples, maintains meticulous records, packs and delivers specimens for testing, and liaises with patients, clinic staff, and couriers. Requires Certificate III in Pathology Collection or healthcare background; valid driver’s license; WWCC; ability to travel to multiple clinics; and vaccination evidence (Hepatitis B). The role emphasizes empathetic patient care, strong communication, organization, and the ability to work autonomously across local clinics with regular, daytime shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Pathology Collection (or healthcare background)
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one
- Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple clinics
- Australian citizen or permanent resident or New Zealand citizen or valid visa with permission to work
- Vaccination evidence such as Hepatitis B is required
