Pathology Patient Care Technician II performing phlebotomy for inpatients and outpatients and ordering/processing specimens in the laboratory. Interacts with patients and parents to perform phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture, fingerstick, and heel stick, per age-appropriate protocols. Maintains proficiency through testing and documentation, directs workflow to meet established turn-around times, and records events in the event tracker.
Required Qualifications
