Pathology Office - Medical Laboratory Assistant

Administrative and laboratory support in the Pathology office within Essentia Health's Laboratory Department. Tasks include accessioning patient reports, preparing conference cases for pathologists, handling and tracking non-hazardous patient material in the LIS, receiving and distributing mail, responding to requests, filing and organizing materials, and scheduling pathologists. Laboratory duties may include specimen collection (venipuncture/capillary puncture), specimen processing, and assisting with laboratory testing per accreditation and licensure requirements. The role involves staff training, adherence to safety and quality policies, and collaboration with providers and customers.
