Job Summary
Pathology Lab Grossing Technician needed to prepare and stain cytology samples, perform gross dissection, and ensure accurate specimen handling to support pathologists. Responsibilities include gross dissection, decalcification, cytology processing and staining, logging specimens, labeling slides and cassettes, operating a tissue processor, and maintaining cytology/grossing quality control records. Requires an Associate in Science Degree with CLIA compliance; experience in a medical laboratory is preferred and a Bachelor’s degree with CLIA satisfied is desirable. Located in Baton Rouge, LA, this full-time role supports a collaborative histology team focused on precise, timely diagnoses from meticulous lab work.
