Pathology Collector

Job Summary
As a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will collect blood and non-blood samples from patients, maintain meticulous records, prepare/pack specimens for transport and testing, deliver documentation within strict turnaround times, and liaise with customers, clinic staff and couriers while delivering quality patient care in local clinics across Queanbeyan and North Canberra. You will bring empathy, strong customer service, time management, and the ability to work autonomously in solo clinic settings, with eligibility to work in Australia and a willingness to obtain a WWCC and any location-specific vaccinations.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Pathology Collection or healthcare background
- Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one
- Valid Driver's license
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) required or willingness to obtain prior to commencing
- Vaccination evidence for Hepatitis B or as required by location
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency or New Zealand citizenship or valid visa with permission to work
