Pathology Assistant Supervisor, Anatomic Pathology (Full Time, Days)

Supervise the assigned Anatomic Pathology staff by managing selection, training, orientation, monitoring, and continuing education while evaluating performance for personnel actions. Prepare daily work schedules to coordinate workflow, adjust staffing for unscheduled concerns, and delegate duties to ensure smooth operations. Perform routine bench grossing activities approximately 50% of scheduled time, serve as a network technical specialist, and review results with Pathologists. Maintain current technical knowledge, compile data, prepare reports, and assist in developing and enforcing policies and service standards. Design and implement a Quality Management process with the Laboratory Quality Manager to document performance and resolve system problems.
