Job Summary
Pathologist with Gynecologic Pathology subspecialty sought to join Northern Westchester Hospital and Phelps Memorial Hospital (Northwell Health) in NY as a full-time Surgical Pathologist. Primary focus on Gynecologic Pathology with potential involvement in general surgical pathology. Candidates should have completed an ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship in Gynecologic Pathology (or equivalent experience); other AP subspecialties or strong interest in related areas may be considered. Requires NY State medical license or eligibility; academic appointment possible; competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Employed via Northwell Health Physician Partners; affiliated with Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Location options include Mount Kisco, Sleepy Hollow, and White Plains, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an ACGME-accredited Pathology residency training program
- Fellowship training or equivalent specialized experience in Gynecologic Pathology
- Unrestricted New York State Medical License or eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- AP/CP Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Gynecologic Pathology fellowship or subspecialty training
- ACGME-accredited Pathology residency
- New York State Medical License (unrestricted or eligible)
- Strong experience in Gynecologic Pathology; open to other AP subspecialties or general surgical pathology for strong candidates
- Academic appointment with affiliated medical school optional but commensurate with credentials
