Pathologist

Pathologist needed for a full-time position in a hospital-based, collegial group of 6 general pathologists and 2 Pathology Assistants serving two community hospitals. Responsibilities include a mixed caseload of biopsies, complex resections, and non-GYN cytology (no GYN cytology). Frozen sections and fine needle aspiration adequacy assessments are required; autopsies are rarely performed. Subspecialty training in cytopathology or GI pathology is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, possess strong communication and collaborative skills, and be willing to participate in clinical laboratory management and multidisciplinary tumor boards.
