Job Summary
Pathologist role with Seattle Children’s involving comprehensive anatomic and clinical pathology services, academic teaching and research, and formal UW faculty appointment eligibility. Responsibilities include clinical consultation for attending physicians and teams, quality integration of pathology services within a multidisciplinary pediatric healthcare environment, and supporting the hospital’s academic mission. Open-rank position with placement based on Academic Rank eligibility; requires MD, pediatric pathology board eligibility/certification, Washington medical licensure, and UW/Seattle Children’s faculty appointment. Required Qualifications
- MD Degree
- Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Pathology
- Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children's
- Faculty appointment at the University of Washington
- Licensed as a Physician in the State of Washington
- Meets the Academic Rank eligibility requirements for Assistant Professor in the UW Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology
- Meets the Academic Rank eligibility requirements for Associate Professor in the UW Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology
