Job Summary
Conduct 35–50 surgical cases daily via digital pathology and perform 1–6 cytologies including FNAs, BALs, and body fluids. Read surgical cases on computer without on-site cytotechnologist screening. Perform independent frozen section cuts after 3 pm and handle occasional bone marrow cases. Work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30/5 pm with call required. Receive weekly pay deposits, complimentary housing, travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage. Access an online portal for assignment details and time entry while your specialized recruiter manages credentialing and privileging.
Required Qualifications
- Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30/5 pm -- call required
- 35 - 50 surgical cases per day
- 1 - 6 cytologies per day -- FNAs, BALs, body fluids, sputums, brushings
- No cytotechnologist on staff to screen
- Digital pathology -- surgical cases read on computer
- Frozen sections required -- pathologist must cut independently after 3 pm
- Occasional frozen sections -- bone marrows sent out, no paps
