Job Summary
Conduct patent prosecution for 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, processor, memory, image processing, and RF front-end technologies. Liaise with clients to develop and manage portfolios, leveraging experience from large national firms. Manage portfolios across autonomous vehicles, robotics, natural language processing, wireless communications, computer vision, and related AI fields. Maintain USPTO registration and bar admission in good standing. This role is open to Counsel and Senior Counsel within a prestigious global law firm, offering pathways to partnership based on performance and firm needs. Lateral candidates from Top 350 firms are required.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent)
- At least two years of patent prosecution experience
- Registered with the United States Patent Trademark Office (USPTO) or qualified to register for the USPTO
- Admitted to and in good standing of the Bar, or be eligible to waive in
- Strong background in 5G, Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), processor and memory systems, image processing and RF front-end
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience liaising with clients to develop and manage portfolios
- Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience with a Large National Firm
- Patent prosecution experience in 5G, Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), processor and memory systems, image processing and RF front-end
- Counsel lawyer status
- At least two years of patent prosecution experience

- Lateral candidate coming directly from another LARGE FIRM (Top 350)
- Currently practicing in the same practice group
