Patent Litigation and Regulatory Compliance Manager

Job Summary
Lead patent litigation efforts by representing the company in court, drafting briefs, and managing USPTO proceedings such as Inter Partes Reviews. Evaluate infringement claims to recommend defense or enforcement strategies while conducting patent searches and submitting applications to protect product innovations. Partner closely with R&D and design engineers to safeguard prototypes before public showings and serve as a liaison between North American teams and global headquarters in Taiwan. Translate regulatory standards into practical guidance for Product and R&D groups. This role supports the company's mission to protect innovations behind fitness equipment sold in over 60 countries.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor
- Technical undergraduate degree in Engineering or a related field
- Active admission to at least one State Bar
- Qualified to practice as a Patent Attorney before the USPTO
- At least two years of patent litigation experience
- Experience leading patent litigation matters, including Inter Partes Review and other USPTO proceedings, from filing through resolution
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret patents and patent applications
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
