Job Summary
Patent Agent position in Life Sciences for our client with offices in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, or Washington, D.C. Requires at least one year of legal practice experience and a PhD (or MD) in a life sciences field (e.g., organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, oncology) with a USPTO registration number. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Required Qualifications
- At least one year of legal practice experience as a patent agent or in a patent-related role
- PhD (or MD) in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, oncology, or related field
- USPTO registration number
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Post-doctoral experience desirable but not required
- Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, or Washington, D.C. office locations may be involved
