Job Summary
Draft and prosecute patent applications in accordance with U.S. and foreign patent laws and regulations. Assist with patentability searches and provide opinions on patentability and freedom-to-operate matters. Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and capture new inventions. Provide intellectual property support for commercial contracts. Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and at least five years of related experience. Starting salary range is $103,000-$135,450 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as engineering or computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 5 years related experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. and foreign patent laws and regulations
- Proven track record of drafting and prosecuting patent applications across various technology fields
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Patent Agent, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications
- Docketing and maintenance experience
