Patches West Surgery Center - Part-Time RN Pre Admission Testing

Assess patient and family needs during interviews and develop realistic care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and significant others. Implement medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures while working closely with anesthesia providers to pre-screen patients with health concerns by sharing lab results and physical assessments. Evaluate and reassess identified issues and patient responses to ensure quality care, maintaining accurate documentation of nursing interventions and communicating potential concerns to the healthcare team. Follow exposure control plans, communicate arrival times and NPO instructions, and respond to telephone inquiries regarding caller needs. This part-time role includes no calls, no weekends, and no holidays, with cross-training opportunities in pre-op and PACU areas when requested.
