Job Summary
Manage supplier operational aspects including forecasts, purchase orders, FGIs, ECOs, obsolete items, MRP actions, repairs, service agreements, OTD, and transitions. Coordinate purchasing activities with planning and engineering to maintain inventory levels, lead quality initiatives, and expedite escalations for timely material receipt. Resolve material-related accounting and receiving issues while providing management input on supplier status, action plans, and long-term solutions. Requires 6+ years in purchasing, SAP MM expertise, and English proficiency. Full-time role in Bangalore with 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher education in relevant field
- >6 Years in Purchasing
- SAP MM expertise
- Knowledge of working with OFFICE systems (especially Excel)
- Ability to work and deal with many information systems
- Service- oriented, experienced with suppliers and internal customers
- Independent, team player with high negotiation skills
- High level English (writing, speaking and reading)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Program management experience
- Commercial orientation
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Great interpersonal skills
- Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
