Job Summary
Prepare baked goods and dessert menu items, follow recipes accurately to maintain quality and consistency, maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry workspace, adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, assist the Pastry Chef with daily production, ensure all inventory and orders from suppliers meet restaurant standards, and execute ad-hoc duties as required. Requires 1-2 years’ experience or pastry-school-based equivalent, WHMIS and Food Safe certifications, strong time-management and teamwork, and the ability to work on-site in Calgary. Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role or equivalent experience through a pastry school
- WHMIS Certification is required but can be obtained once hired
- Food Safe Certification is required but can be obtained within 30 days of being hired
- Strong English communication skills
