Job Summary
Create and bake exceptional pastries and desserts with careful attention to flavor, texture, and presentation. Prepare a variety of scratch-made sweets by following recipes closely, setting up workstations, and preparing ingredients like batter, dough, and toppings. Multitask efficiently in a bustling kitchen environment to ensure stunning presentation for all items while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation. Store ingredients and finished goods properly, monitor inventory, and communicate shortages to the team.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a baker or cook
- Strong teamwork with excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with baking tools and equipment
- Ability to follow sanitation procedures
- A positive attitude
- Must be able to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly)
- Required to ascend and descend stairs
- Required to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- lift up to 50 pounds
- bend, stoop and kneel
- May be required to work outside in various weather conditions
- Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment
- Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state

- Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms
