Job Summary
As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for creating and preparing all pastry items, planning menus for desserts that complement savory dishes, and ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen. This role requires overseeing a team of junior pastry cooks, maintaining knowledge about pastry arts, and administrative tasks to foster an efficient workspace. Candidates should have a strong work ethic and preferably possess a culinary diploma along with experience in high volume and fine dining settings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required
- Culinary diploma with a concentration in Pastry Arts or equivalent in experience strongly preferred
