Job Summary
Execute precise recipes and manage daily production in the Pastry Department, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency standards meet company specifications. Bake fresh pastries, desserts, and breads for all outlets while maintaining complete set up, cleanliness, and organization of bakery areas. Assist with developing standardized recipes and update them as needed, adhering to venue safety protocols and Legends Global policies. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and complete assigned training. Available to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays at the Central Park Boathouse.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently and work well as a team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a high volume preparation environment
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Available to work non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)
- Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 50 lbs
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
- Ability to remain on feet for entire length of shift
Desired Qualifications
- Fully competent in all aspects of baking and pastry
- Ability to define a problem, collects data, establish facts and forms conclusions
- Ability to understand complex instructions and material. Ability to mentally process abstract ideas while delivering results
- Ability to be present at work for assigned schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours when required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and works well in environment with time constraints
