Job Summary
The Pastry Cook II prepares and bakes cakes, cookies, pies, puddings, and other desserts in a high-volume hotel kitchen. Responsibilities include following the production sheet, maintaining proper storage and labeling, adhering to food-handling guidelines, keeping equipment and work areas clean, and ensuring safety during emergencies. Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays; shift runs 2:00pm–10:30pm. Education includes High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred with apprenticeship or culinary school); minimum pastry experience of two years and hotel experience preferred. Licensure preferred: Maricopa County Food Handler Card or ServeSafe Food Handler Certification.
Required Qualifications
