Job Summary
Prepare pastries including cookies, cakes, breads, and other bakery items according to established recipes; oversee banquet orders and wedding cake production; oversee pastry cart setup and presentation; maintain bakery cleanliness and safety; assist in production and inventory of baked goods; notify chef of shortages; assist in supply requisition and special decorations; contribute to day-to-day pastry operations and ensure high-quality desserts for events and service.
Required Qualifications
- One year of previous pastry experience
- Completion of a culinary school program or apprenticeship preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Basic math skills
- Flexible schedule, especially during holidays
- Reliable transportation
