Job Summary
Pastry Cook responsible for planning, prepping, setting up and preparing quality pastries, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, creams, simple syrups, and jams in the Pastry/Bake Shop under the guidance of the Pastry Chef and Executive Chef. Maintain sanitation and organization in accordance with Health Department standards; coordinate daily specials and prep sheets with the Pastry Chef and Executive Chef. Prefer minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume or fine dining pastry kitchens and a culinary degree from an accredited school or university. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays and communicate effectively in English.

- Must be able to maintain tact and be cool under pressure
- Able to work flexible hours necessary including off hours, weekends and holidays
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral form
