Job Summary
Pastry Chef de Partie overseeing pastry and bakery production in a hotel, ensuring high-quality pastries and desserts across outlets; supports menu development, cost control, and kitchen operations, with team supervision and training of staff. Responsible for maintaining sanitation standards, assisting in market lists and inter-kitchen transfers, equipment maintenance, and ensuring quality during peak service hours. Requires Diploma/Certificate in Pastry or Culinary Arts and 2–4 years’ hotel pastry/bakery experience; strong knowledge of pastry production, costing, and kitchen operations; supervisory experience preferred. The role supports adherence to hotel brand standards and contributes to continuous skill development and service excellence.
Required Qualifications

- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in a hotel pastry/bakery environment
- Strong understanding of pastry production, costing, and kitchen operations
- Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff is an advantage
