Job Summary
Prepare and execute a diverse range of pastry items, desserts, baked goods, and confectionery products using classical and contemporary techniques. Develop and maintain consistency in all pastry offerings with exceptional quality, presentation, and taste. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design seasonal menus, special event desserts, and customized experiences. Manage daily pastry kitchen operations, production planning, and workflow; monitor food costs, portion sizes, and inventory; ensure food safety and HACCP compliance. Mentor junior pastry staff; stay updated on pastry techniques and industry trends; accommodate guest dietary requirements with care. Strong pastry techniques, bakery production, chocolate work, sugar artistry, and plated dessert creation are essential, along with effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen, hospitality establishment, or fine dining environment
