Job Summary
Provide pastoral and spiritual care to residents, families, and staff while adhering to Joint Commission standards and HIPAA regulations. Deliver this support within NDHC's mission framework, ensuring a climate of hospitality and compassion. Represent the organization positively in the community and fulfill the requirement of working a minimum of one Sunday per month (8 hours). Maintain eligibility as an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Worcester. This per diem role supports our family-like Long-Term Care community, rooted in the heritage of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in pastoral ministry or related field
- Must be or eligible to be an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Worcester
- Candidate must work a minimum of one Sunday a month
- Must be or eligible to be an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion
- Position schedule may require working some holidays
- Position considered 'essential employee' under NDHC's Inclement Weather Policy
