Pastoral Practitioner

Identify and respond to the spiritual needs of patients/clients and families in a hospital setting. Provide holistic pastoral care including emotional and spiritual support, theological reflection, ritual facilitation, and faith integration; develop and implement spiritual care plans; advocate for patients and families; uphold privacy and confidentiality; participate in team reflective practice and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team; lead prayer, worship, rituals, and liturgy; engage in professional development and adhere to professional boundaries; deliver respectful, inclusive pastoral care across diverse faiths and backgrounds; stay open to Clinical Pastoral Education during the first year.
