Pastoral Care Volunteer Community Role, Hammond At Home, Southern Illawarra

Support people to meet their spiritual needs and nurture spiritual development through regular home visits. Offer comfort, presence, and hope to elderly clients living in their home by providing a listening ear and prayerful support. Supplement the work of the Pastoral Care Coordinator under their direction. Visit clients Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm for one hour each week over a six-month period. This role is part of HammondCare's Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme, funded by the Australian Government, connecting elderly people with volunteers to improve quality of life and reduce isolation.
