Job Summary
Pastoral Care & Mission Integration Staff Chaplain provides spiritual care as a chaplain to patients, families, and employees at ARMC, delivering compassionate support, education on spiritual care to clinical staff, and collaboration with management to improve patient care. Responsibilities include managing scheduled on-call duties, responding to calls, visiting and supporting patients and families, communicating issues and trends in spiritual care to leadership, fostering community support for Adena Health System, and ensuring alignment with the department's mission and values. The role requires effective communication with the Director of Chaplaincy Services and readiness to respond to codes while supporting caregivers and promoting caregiver well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred or required)
- Willing and able to assume on-call responsibility
- Experience or demonstrated ability to provide chaplaincy/spiritual care to patients, families, and staff
