PASTORAL CARE-CHAPLAIN

Deliver evidence-based emotional and spiritual support to patients, families, and staff by assessing needs, providing routine care, and managing crisis interventions. Meet ritual and sacramental requirements through direct care or timely referral, ensuring all pastoral encounters are documented with assessment, intervention, and continuing care plans. Maintain emergent availability for the Pastoral Care team across days, weekends, and overnight shifts. Participate in patient care rounds, family meetings, and interdisciplinary consultations to promote pastoral care as an integral healthcare discipline. Establish and maintain relationships with community religious organizations, recruit volunteers, and attend to staff pastoral needs. Maintain professional affiliations and utilize resources for personal growth and wellbeing.
