Job Summary
Preach Sunday morning worship and selected special services, provide counseling and teaching, administer Sacraments, conduct weddings and funerals, perform visitation, and offer prayer for the congregation. Maintain regular communication with the 35-member congregation while developing a dynamic children's program to reach the unchurched. Serve as a half-time, bivocational leader embracing Reformed theology and principles, with a focus on sustaining community witness in the western Maine mountains.
Required Qualifications
- Mature believer in Christ
- Embraces Reformed theology and principles
- Half time, bivocational pastor
- Graduate of a seminary accredited by the Association of Theological Schools
- Preaching at Sunday morning worship and selected other special services
- Counseling
- Teaching
- Administering Sacraments
- Conducting weddings and funerals
- Visitation
- Prayer for the congregation
- Regular communication with the congregation
- Engaged in credible and approved continuing education at a Reformed school
Desired Qualifications
- Recent college graduate with significant faith formation/training
