Job Summary
Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis services to clients in homes or community locations, implementing skill-building plans and recording session data. Foster positive learning environments while collaborating with families to enhance treatment effectiveness. This entry-level position offers paid training with no prior experience required, serving as an ideal path for those interested in psychology or early childhood development. All roles are part-time with flexible afternoon or evening hours, requiring a minimum six-month commitment and completion of a 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations
- Reliable method of transportation
- Required to take the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course
- Minimum 6 month commitment required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Education or early childhood development
- Experience in Childcare, babysitting, or youth mentorship
- Experience in Teaching assistant, paraprofessional, or instructional aide roles
- Experience in After-school programs or camp counseling
- Experience in Behavioral health, mental health, or social services
- Experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals with Autism
- Experience in Healthcare support (DSP, CNA, HHA, PCA, caregiver)
- Experience supporting a neurodiverse family member or loved one
- Experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA, or Registered Behavior Technician
