Passenger Services Representative (PSR) performs customer service, onboard passenger services, and operations monitoring duties under supervision. Shifts vary with the train schedule and may include early morning and late evening hours, with split shifts and layovers at a designated hotel in San Jose. PSRs travel aboard the train from Stockton to San Jose, visiting multiple stations en route, and must stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, climb stairs, reach, and lift heavy objects during onboard duties.
