Job Summary
Oversee fast-paced airport passenger service operations including check-in, ticketing, gate information, baggage handling, and passenger assistance; host self-service kiosks and verify passengers’ documents prior to boarding; interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing; ensure work areas (check-in, lobby, gate, baggage) are organized; occasionally make announcements, check baggage, and assign tasks; uphold safety, security, wellbeing and compliance policies and promote a safe working environment; require proficiency in English, strong communication, and ability to operate computer-based systems; maintain a positive attitude and calmly handle high-pressure situations; ability to stand for extended periods in the passenger service environment; supports diversity and equal opportunity in hiring and employment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram
- Computer skills required to use computer-based systems
- Ability to read, write and speak English, with excellent communication skills
- Positive, upbeat personality; ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to stand for long periods at the ticket counter and gate check-in
