Job Summary
Passenger Service & Ramp Agent responsible for supporting both passenger service and ramp operations to ensure safe, efficient aircraft handling. Duties include loading/unloading baggage and cargo, marshaling and ground equipment setup, transporting baggage between terminals, providing passenger assistance (including wheelchair support and gate assistance), aiding boarding/deplaning, operating ground support equipment, ensuring accurate baggage delivery, and maintaining compliance with TSA regulations and airport safety procedures while delivering strong customer service. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather, communicate effectively with colleagues, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Requires high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and successful pass of pre-employment drug tests and background checks. Pay: $17.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Previous airport, ramp, customer service, warehouse, or logistics experience
- Airport ramp, gate areas, and terminal operations environment
- Exposure to aircraft noise, weather conditions, and moving ground equipment
- Fast-paced environment with strict operational deadlines
- Frequent interaction with passengers and airline personnel
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to take verbally direct in English
- Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials
- Identification badges must always be visible
