Job Summary
The Passenger Service Agent plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to passengers and visitors at the airport. Responsibilities include greeting passengers, assisting with check-in and boarding processes, providing accurate flight information, handling inquiries, and ensuring compliance with airline and airport regulations. Candidates must demonstrate strong customer service skills, be effective communicators, and be prepared to resolve customer issues professionally. The position requires individuals to lift up to 70 pounds, maintain a tidy work environment, and participate in ongoing training to enhance customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- One year of customer service experience
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
