Job Summary
Passenger Assistant (Part Time) at Washington Dulles International Airport: provide safe, courteous wheelchair assistance to airline passengers with mobility needs, including transporting passengers to gates, terminals, baggage claim, and other locations; offer directions and airport information; maintain professional demeanor; coordinate with dispatchers and gate agents; comply with TSA procedures and complete wheelchair usage logs and incident reports; require English proficiency, strong customer service, and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays; physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 75 pounds, and pass drug/alcohol screening.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (may be required at some locations)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (DOT or Non-DOT, as applicable) and participate in random testing requirements
