Job Summary
Build trusted relationships with Pasifika communities, churches, and organisations to support disabled people, their families, and carers. Coach individuals to confidently access and self-manage Individualised Funding (IF) and disability supports while championing the Enabling Good Lives principles. Promote Lifewise services to increase community awareness and referrals, representing the organisation at community events and fono. Based in Grafton, Auckland, this permanent full-time role offers unlimited coffee, an on-site gym, and Employee Assistance Programme access. Fluency in a Pacific language and strong knowledge of Pasifika cultures are essential for this purpose-driven position.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Pasifika cultures, values, and communities
- Fluency in at least one Pacific language
- Experience in disability, health, social services, or community support
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A passion for empowering people and strengthening communities
- Full NZ Driver Licence
- Based in Grafton, Auckland
- Permanent Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for community events outside normal hours
