Job Summary
Monitor plant operations, perform quality checks and chemistry control, and maintain records of daily activities. Load and unload consumable chemicals, manage filter press operations, and coordinate sludge storage and movement. Report any abnormalities to the supervisor and assist in plant maintenance and water sample collection. This safety-sensitive role requires a pre-employment 5 Panel Test and involves lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and wearing PPE. Candidates must have experience with pre-treatment, demineralization, reverse osmosis, and wastewater treatment processes.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working in industrial water treatment plants
- Experienced in operating and maintaining industrial water treatment plants involving at least some of the following: Pre-treatment (PT), Demineralization (DM), Reverse Osmosis (RO), Dissolved Aeration Flotation (DAF), Digestors, Waste water treatment units
- Knowledge and experience in chemical processes involved in Pre-Treatment, Demineralization, and Wastewater treatment
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and maintain a positive attitude and good organizational skills
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to be hands-on and to carry out tasks with minimal monitoring
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on site
- Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods
- Must have a high degree of concentration in a busy area
- Must be able to perform a pre-employment 5 Panel Test
