Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes in Lake Forest, IL. Responsibilities include providing daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off; includes free housing and meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise youth
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
