Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in Hershey, PA, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and a structured, family-like environment for a group of about 813 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role progresses from assisting multiple student homes with a nine-on/three-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student home. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
