Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Residents live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a fixed student-home assignment. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
